Our carefully structured 200-hour yoga teacher training program is thoughtfully designed as an opportunity for the deeper study of yoga on various levels. Through the expertly guided exploration of the ancient yogic texts, our applicable and understandable anatomy modules, a broad exploration of meditation and pranayama techniques that are steeped in yogic history and lineage, the personal setting of intentions applying the principles of Sankulpa, the study of energy anatomy (subtle body & chakras), hands on teaching, and the careful and thoughtful Art of Adjustments, and precise verbal cueing. We dive deep into the ancient and beautiful language of Sanskrit and use it to teach and theme yoga classes, and, of course, the magical and transformative study of  yogic philosophy. We also expand our yogic teachings and offer the study of "The Science of Yoga," Ayurveda.  


For some students, our yoga teacher training program is an important part of their path to becoming a yoga instructor. For others, it is a journey of self-study that helps to clarify other relationships, career goals, and personal interests as well as deepen their personal practice and study of yoga. Upon completion, you will be eligible for registration with Yoga Alliance at the RYT-200 level. Our Yoga Alliance-approved certification program(s) inspire and train you to teach safe and transformative yoga classes, as well as incorporate the wisdom and practice of yoga into your life.


Our program provides a multi-disciplinary approach to Hatha Yoga, Meditation, and Pranayama. Our program emphasizes the importance of self-study and practice combined with a well supported practicum. Immerse yourself in our yoga community. Practice as a means to strengthen your connection to yourself and others. Our program combines group instruction, one-on-one mentoring, a Facebook community through specific groups and pages, reflective personal study, take home assignments, creative writing assignments, reading, and so much more! As a graduate you will head into the world confident and ready to lead grounded, safe, and inspired Hatha Yoga classes. You also learn how to offer modifications, posture options, clarification of contraindications, and how to create a complete series of classes with progressive levels of difficulty.

Minimum content hours (as determined by Yoga Alliance) include

Techniques: Instruction in Yoga Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation 100 hours
Teaching Methodology 30 hours
Anatomy and Physiology 20 hours
Philosophy/Ethics/Lifestyle 30 hours
Practicum 15 hours
Other 5 hours
Total 200 hours

On the first day of training, students receive a complimentary Gratitude School of  Yoga Teacher 200-hour manual. Additional required texts include:
