Paula Foxx
Founder and Director
Paula began her practice in 2002 and has been teaching full time since 2006. She has traveled extensively studying, practicing, and teaching yoga. In 2011, Paula completed her 500-RYT Teacher Training, specializing in yoga therapeutics.
Paula believes strongly in actively participating in her community. From 2008-2011 she was the Director of Yoga Programs for LifeTime Fitness in Mansfield, Texas. Paula has taught, as well as developed, led, and hosted several workshops and intensives. Paula has the honor of establishing and incorporating a yoga training program with the Varsity Boys Soccer Team at Mansfield High School. In 2010, Paula was asked to lead the first yoga series for The University of Texas at Arlington Marching Band. Paula has written articles about yoga for local publications as well as been featured in The Fort Worth Star Telegram Newspaper and Mansfield Now Magazine.
Paula teaches public and private classes in a noncompetitive enviroment to students of all ages and levels. Paula's classes integrate mindful asana with proper alignment, and focus is on building strength, flexibility, awareness, and exploring one's true nature. Her down-to-earth approach and playful spirit allows her students to feel comfortable, regardless of experience or physical ability. Paula's enthusiasm is infectious. She teaches with passion, humor, and relatable examples that everyone can apply to life. She believes that there is great potential for joy and healing within each of us and that as our bodies change, so does our experience. Paula encourages her students to celebrate each triumph, no matter how small.
Paula shares her life with her husband, Jerry and their three children, Brendan, Chloe` and Jamie. Above all else, Paula is most proud of and grateful for her beautiful family.
